Why Do I need a wedding planner?

By hiring a wedding planner you get to make the decisions that mean the most to you while letting someone else worry about all the details and unexpected issues.  For some couples this may mean relying on us to design and orchestrate the entire event from beginning to end, for others, it may mean asking us to step in only at the very end to ensure all of the their plans are put into place and executed flawlessly.You’ll be able to enjoy and spend your wedding day with your family and friends.  All you have to worry about is being there on time and looking beautiful.  You are already making a significant investment in your wedding to make it everything you always dreamed of.  Trying to do all of the planning and day of coordinating alone or having a friend/family member means you probably won’t have time to truly enjoy it.  The most precious gift you can give yourselves is the advice and expertise of a certified planner who can save you time, stress, and give you PEACE OF MIND on your wedding day.

The selection of a wedding coordinator is a critical part of your wedding planning process.  The planner you select should be one that you feel relaxed and comfortable with, after all she is the one who you are trusting this important day with to accomplish the wedding that you have always dreamed of.

Whose wedding is it anyway?  I like taking charge of things and want to enjoy the details of planning my wedding, and I’m afraid that if I hire a wedding planner/coordinator she might disregard my ideas and take over, does this happen?

It’s your all about you!  It’s a popular misconception that a wedding planner will come in and take over.  This isn’t the case with Chic Ambiance.  I take your vision and desires and help you turn them into a reality.  It is after all your day and your vision.  We are here to offer guidance and ensure your carefully planned vision is brought to life.  With our expertise in the wedding industry and latest trends we provide many unique ideas and resources; however, we are here to help you, not override any of your desires and decisions.  We would never take away the enjoyment you get from planning your big day!

 

Why should I hire a wedding coordinator instead of having one of my friends or relatives help coordinate my wedding?


In regards to day-of coordination what matters, is that someone is on site from start to finish that has the confidence, experience, and passion to make the day you have always dreamed of a reality. Someone must be able to delegate vendors, make last minute decisions, answer all questions, and make sure that the event goes off without a hitch that is where we come in. We will have constant contact with all of your vendors, know every detail of the venue, and have an accurate time line of the day's events.

Having a family/friend coordinate your wedding day is very time consuming and stressful for someone that hasn’t been professional trained nor has the experience. Your bridesmaids, family and friends all deserve to play a special part in your wedding in order for them to be able to fully enjoy this special day with you, they shouldn’t need to worry about setting up décor, making sure your cake arrives on time, or  handling any unexpected emergencies.  

We guarantee that you will feel very comfortable with having us in charge of your event, organizing and planning is second nature to us. By hiring us to be your coordinator for your event your friends and family can just enjoy your day, but most importantly you can relax knowing that every little detail has been taken care of.


Can I afford a wedding coordinator? I’m concerned about the added expense.  Is it really necessary? /We’re on a tight budget – How can we justify hiring a wedding planner?

The ceremony/reception venue already provides catering manager and on-site coordinator.  Why do I need to hire a wedding coordinator?

Though on-site coordinators/catering managers do a wonderful job getting done what is contracted, they usually only handle the responsibilities related to their specific venue and the service of food. Our responsibility is you!  Often they are not responsible for creating timelines, directing your ceremony/rehearsal, making sure the bridal party is ready for pictures, your flowers are in the right place, candles are lit, assuring all vendors are on time, and all of those personal details you put into your wedding day to make it unique, we orchestrate all aspects of your event.

We offer a more personal, detailed understanding of your plans not only on the wedding day but leading up to it as well.  Think of us as your personal assistant, being there to attend to your needs and every element of your big day.  We make sure every detail you worked so hard on are executed and double checked for perfection. At some venues, the on-site coordinator will be managing multiple events in one day and may not be prepared to react to unexpected emergencies that personally have to deal with your wedding, having your personal wedding coordinator will insure that any situations that may arise will be handled seamlessly. We work as a team with the on-site coordinator and vendors to ensure your vision is brought to life and executed flawlessly so you and your family and simply relax and enjoy your wedding day.
